To help us build our capability, we are recruiting a new **Technical Executive** to work with our **International Emergency Medical Assistance** team.

As the **Technical Executive**, you will be working to support your team to the best of your ability. On a daily basis, you will be working closely with the claims team in order to support them with technical enquiries and escalations. You will report into the Claims Team Manager, collaborating when necessary with other operational departments within AXA Travel Insurance, as well as AXA Partners Travel Business Line.

**Working Hours**:Our phone lines are open from 8am to 9pm, so your shift will fall between these times. We operate Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.

**Salary**: £25,500 base plus 10% shift allowance

**Induction & Training**: You’ll receive 4 weeks of fully comprehensive training from our specialist trainers to set you up for success in your new role. **What you’ll be doing**:

- Supporting the claims team with their queries
- Pro-actively managing and controlling Red Flag/complex cases and complaints
- Supporting the account management teams with client meetings from a technical perspective
- Arranging and managing work allocation to agents
- Completing payment and case authorisation and auditing
- Delivering coaching and feedback to staff on technical matters
- Meeting with the Claims Team Manager on a daily basis to organising resource/allocation/L&D activity
- Being a process owner and developer of Technical processes
- Working as an outstanding customer service champion within the department and to interface regularly with key stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Being able to support/take on responsibilities of the operations manager in their absence

- Exceptional communication ability, capable of influencing and asserting opinion at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate a highly professional work ethic
- A high degree of drive and commitment is a must in this challenging role, together with a positive can-do attitude
- Demonstrable commitment to continued career development.

**Added bonus if you have**:

- Previous audit management is desirable, but not essential
- Proven experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
