Facilities Co-ordinator

**The Company**

Our combined group serves our customer base through 171 branches extending from Penzance to Margate, with revenues in excess of £600 million and employs over 2,100 colleagues.
**The Role**
You will work closely with the Property, Safety & Operations teams and key team members within the company to provide coordination of safety, maintenance and day to day issues arising from the portfolio of commercial properties.
Managing facilities ensuring all work equipment checks and inspections are completed on time and records kept up to date.
Organising emergency and remedial works liaising where necessary with contractors whilst being first point of contact for urgent works.
Ensuring all contractors are qualified, have insurance and competent in their tasks and ensuring that all RAMS are received and filed accordingly.
Supporting safety audits and actions following
Assisting with the delivery of group projects on time and within budget
**Specific Experience & Skills Required**
You will have a strong focus on customer service with an excellent telephone manner and be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. You will also have excellent accuracy and numeracy skills. The ability to work under pressurewith a flexible approach is essential to succeed in this role and you should be confident working independently and unsupervised. You will require at least 1 years' experience in an equivalent position and must hold a full driving licence as you will be requiredto support multiple sites.
**The Hours and Location**
Full time, 40 hours per week, worked during our opening hours of Monday to Friday 7.30am - 17.00pm.
Base location is preferably Eastbourne/Polegate, but this can be flexible.
