**HMP Bronzefield** have an exciting opportunity for a Prison
**Pre-Release Worker** to join our team.

In this role, you will support the resettlement and pre-release planning for offenders approaching release from prison. You will work closely with external stakeholders, such as the Probation Service, Commissioned Rehabilitative Services and accommodation providers. You will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments of the needs of the women entering custody, and then signposting them to bespoke services to address their immediate needs and prepare for their release to the community.

HMP YOI Bronzefield is an all-female prison that can hold up to 542 women. Working in a prison might not be what you think. We deliver the total operation of five prisons within England, Scotland and Wales and own six Community Rehabilitation Companies in partnership with crime reduction charity Nacro.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) based on site. To be successful in this role, you will:

- Provide resettlement and pre-release support for approx. 30-40 prisoners a month. Including both remand and sentenced prisoners.
- Weekly attendance and contribution to the Pre-Release Planning Meeting
- Monthly attendance and contribution to the Through the Gate Strategy Meeting
- Regular attendance and contribution to various internal meetings, including the Public Protection meeting.
- Flexibility and occasional early or late working maybe required.
