**Salary**: £26,000 per year (full-time, 40 hours per week)

**About us**
- We’re a progressive practice with a passion for pets, people and innovation. Our expansion has given us more space to care for our ever-growing patient base and better facilities for our team, including a dedicated study area and a large rest room.
- Our close-knit team includes 4 full-time vets, 4 RVNs, 1 Auxiliary Nurse, 3 SVNs and 1 VCA, supported by our proactive Client Care team and Practice Manager. We work closely together to deliver outstanding care while supporting each other every step of the way.

**About the role**
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

As a VCA, you’ll play a vital part in both clinical and client care, with responsibilities such as:

- Feeding, exercising and grooming our inpatients
- Monitoring patients and providing supportive care
- Assisting with theatre preparation, equipment set-up and patient handling
- Keeping wards and accommodation clean and comfortable
- Helping with reception and pharmacy tasks, including advising clients on basic preventative care

**Qualifications & Experience**
You must either:

- Hold a Level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants (City & Guilds or equivalent), with some experience in a veterinary practice, or
- Be looking to join us as an apprentice Veterinary Care Assistant, where you’ll complete your Level 2 VCA qualification alongside hands-on training in our practice.
