We are a 80 bed specialist nursing home, looking for a part time maintenance worker to support our Head of Maintenance.

As a Maintenance Operative you will take part in the responsibility of resolving any home maintenance concerns promptly, ensuring that the care home is a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well.

You will have a working knowledge of building systems and related regulatory requirements including, but not limited to: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, equipment repairs and interior/exterior finishes.

Good general property maintenance knowledge and skills. Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant, Handyman preferred. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/Diploma/City & Guilds and Health & Safety/NEBOSH certificate preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
