Housekeeping Team Member 5 Days

The Queens Hotel York are looking to recruit one more housekeeping team member to compliment our friendly team. We are a busy city centre hotel with 78 bedrooms and 15 self catering apartments. We are currently looking for a reliable person to work 5 days per week in our housekeeping department (weekends are included on rotation). The duties include cleaning bedrooms at the hotel as well as occasional apartment holiday let cleaning, apartment living areas, corridors, stairways and other public areas. You will be required to make beds, hoover, dust, clean bathrooms and toilets whilst adhering to Hotel cleaning procedures and standards. You will also be expected to help with linen deliveries along side other team members. Once trained you will be required to work independently under the supervision of our Head Housekeeper. Experience of a similar role is advantageous.
Shift start times range from 9.00 am
- 9.30 am, and shifts are approx 4.5-5hrs. We can offer hours to suit school drop off/pick up and flexible days too. Uniform provided.
Cycle parking is available, we are city centre on the main bus routes.
Interviews will take place week commencing 16th September.
This is a 5 days a week position, permanent. (5 over 7 inc weekends)
Monthly pay.
£8.60 - £11.44ph
