**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Supply Chain Assistant** to join our busy Procurement team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials from suppliers through to production — keeping our manufacturing operations running seamlessly.

You’ll be responsible for expediting purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate schedules to ensure our customers receive the highest standard of product and service.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Schedule and expedite purchase orders to meet production and customer demands.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to track progress and resolve any issues.
- Support procurement and warehouse colleagues to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Identify and prevent potential delays or shortages.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our supply chain processes.

**What We’re Looking For**

**Essential**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of procurement or supply chain processes.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a problem-solving mindset.

**Desirable**:

- NVQ in Business Administration or CIPS Level 3 in Procurement and Supply.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
