The Manchester office is often at the cutting edge of developing new ways to deliver first-class services to clients and colleagues, drawing on diverse backgrounds and expertise, making it a vibrant and dynamic workplace. **About the role** As a Compliance and Ethics Assistant, supporting the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") program, DAC6 and other compliance programs across our global offices. You will also be supporting the Office of General Counsel on special projects on an as-needed basis. Other key responsibilities include: - Conducting intensive corporate research, verifying client identification and collecting documentation promptly to support compliance efforts across various jurisdictions; - Assisting with the monitoring of the implementation of UK sanctions, and undertaking research related to the firm’s screening program; - Working with the Compliance & DAC6 Senior Analysts to ensure assessments, courses and forms have been completed by the appropriate deadlines. - Assisting with ad hoc special projects such as travel queries due to Brexit and the Posted Workers Directive. **About you** Join our team if you: - Enjoy working in a team environment and providing a strong customer experience; - Enjoy interacting effectively with a range of seniorities and possess excellent interpersonal skills; - Exhibit an ability to problem solve and provide alternative strategies to challenging situations; - Are able to organise your workload well, prioritise effectively and handle multiple deadlines; - Can handle confidential information with the appropriate discretion.
