**What will you be doing as a Community Support Worker?**

Project Support Workers support and encourage people who have a disability to participate in meaningful activities, new experiences, and opportunities, which will meet their individual needs in the most appropriate ways. You will be creative, energetic, and willing to share your creativity with the group.

Project Support Workers work independently supporting small groups of clients and in larger groups with other members of staff, supporting and developing clients that may require help with personal care, and may present challenging behaviour while helping clients to achieve their goals. Completing accurate paperwork, meeting deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service and liaising with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure client’s needs are met.

**What will you need to be a successful Support Worker?**

Care and Catering experience is essential for this role.

Experience within catering settings or home baking skills are also desirable.

What you need is a passion for helping people and a desire to really make a difference to people’s lives.
