Aspiring Clinical Psychologist - Aspiring Case Worker - Aspiring Teacher
Do you want to develop your career in the special needs and disabilities sector? Do you aim to take your studies in Psychology further? Are you an aspiring child or educational psychologist? Do you believe you are able to motivate children to learn and develop?
If you are, this would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience with young children with special needs AND build your own network with specialists in the fields of psychology, occupational and other therapies.
Join a team at an all age day school (2 -19 years) catering for children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Pupils may have additional sensory impairments, physical difficulties or challenging behaviour.
You will be trained and mentored in implementing strategies and procedures within the school. Motivating and encouraging young children so that they enjoy their day will be a key part of the role. Raising the children's self-esteem is important
You will work alongside the class teacher and other support staff to assist in delivering the curriculum and planned activities, and there will also be occasions where you will need to assist with personal care routines.
- £75 to £85 per day
- Mon - Fri (39 weeks per annum - term time)
- 08h30 to 15h30 (school term time)
If this opportunity interests you, please contact Judith Oakley at or call for more details.
