W J Meade are looking for an experienced **Lettings Negotiator** to fill this position within our Highams Park Office (E4). W J Meade are a privately-owned, well-established Estate Agency based in North & East London. We pride ourselves in being competitive, professional and above all, market leaders.

As a senior **Lettings Negotiator**, you are required to not only manage your existing portfolio, but also increase it by seeking new properties to let. Client retention is hugely important, so you must be able to acquire, build and sustain relationships of both landlords and tenants alike.

To assist you in branch, there is a Lettings Administrator who completes all paperwork, a Property Manager who deals with inspections and maintenance and a Lettings Assistant who provides supports in all aspects of the job.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Source lettings properties to add to the portfolio.
- Conduct market appraisals for prospective clients.
- Ascertain the requirements for each client and up-sell our service packages.
- Finding suitable tenants for properties.
- Check tenants in and out of properties.
- Negotiate renewals with landlords and tenants.
- Manage client retention to maintain property portfolio.
- Assist on issues that arise from Property Management.

**SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an estate agency-based role.
- Target and performance driven.
- Demonstrator of winning new business/ instructions.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Impeccable communications skills - written and verbal.
