**An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our attendance provision here at Castleford Academy and across the primaries in the Trust.**

**You will**:

- Be responsible for ensuring that every pupil at Castleford Academy has the opportunity to attend and benefit from the provision offered by the academy. This will include identifying and providing early intervention, preventative support, guidance and advice to parents, carers and guardians.
- Significantly contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people.
- Develop and maintain effective working partnerships with parents, carers and guardians for the benefit of the education of the child.
- Provide accessible information, explanation and guidance and if/when required engage external agencies to support the families of those children that the post holder is supporting.

**You will be/have**:

- Qualified to A level or equivalent.
- Experience of working with families with complex needs.
- Excellent Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills.
- Proven organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
- The ability to deal with emotion packed situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Ability to relate well to children and adults.
- Flexible and adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude and a good sense of humour.
