**Art Sales Consultant - £25,000 - £29,000 depending on experience + Unlimited Commission**

Our client is seeking an Art Sales Consultant for their new art gallery opening soon. Do you love modern and contemporary Art? Are you an experienced luxury sector Sales Consultant (preferably within the art industry)? If so, get in touch

This role can be full-time or part-time with a minimum of 3 days a week.

**Art Sales Consultant Responsibilities**

As the Art Sales Consultant some of your duties will include:

- Initiate, develop, and complete on sales of artwork to clients, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships and building collections for clients
- Providing a tailored, personalised service to clients as an expert Art Sales Consultant and sharing your passion for exclusive paintings, collectables and limited editions including work from emerging talent
- Liaising with clients daily to develop new and existing business
- Attending clients home and office to carry out consultations
- Attending events

**The Company**

Our client is opening the first of multiple boutique galleries across the UK. You will be dealing in works by the likes of Damien Hirst, Pablo Picasso and L.S. Lowry to name a few.

**Art Sales Consultant Experience**

To be successful in this Sales Consultant role you will be a self-motivated and driven individual with exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to liaise with clients on high value art pieces, with a commercial awareness and strong understanding of the art industry. You must have previous luxury sales consultancy experience, preferably within the art industry or an interest in Art. You will be proactive, and eager to grow and develop on a personal level whilst also developing the business you are working with. You will have a good understanding of how to communicate with the consumer and identify selling opportunities. You will be comfortable working onsite in the gallery and meeting and exceeding sales targets. If you are not from the Art sector but do have experience within luxury retail, luxury hospitality or the luxury property sales sectors for example, this could be transferable to this role.

**Location**

Our client is located South East of Oxford/ North East of Reading, and applicants MUST have easy access to commute within a reasonable time frame as the Art Sales Consultant role cannot offer hybrid or remote working and can only be done onsite or home visits with clients. The new gallery space is modern, welcoming and beautiful. There is parking nearby.
