Inventory & Fulfilment Controller

Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring bought-out materials are procured to the required specification having regard for quality, delivery, price and other contractual conditions. You will provide cost effective and strategic purchasing orders focused on customer required delivery dates & optimum inventory levels for the UK operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- SIOP/Forecasts: Participate to the process & provide data for activity forecasts
- Purchasing/Fulfilment:

- Manage assigned third party suppliers including coordinating schedules, inventory levels and forecasts
- Create and manage internal purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Manage supply dates with internal and external suppliers for procured items
- Expedite purchase orders for direct and in-direct suppliers in a timely manner when required and where necessary inform the supply chain manager regarding any delays / problems to ensure agreed delivery dates are met
- Assist with present and new suppliers in cost management exercises - securing and analyzing quotations, prices and terms and make recommendations with respects to cost, quality and delivery competitiveness
- Inventory:

- Monitor inventory and take actions regarding shortages and slow-moving stock
- Customer deliveries:

- Manage scheduled shipping dates for customers order requirements through suppliers, freight, 3rd party logistics and intercompany for the UK division
- Warehousing:

- Communicating and coordinating with the carriers
- To work closely with the warehouse supervisor regarding the management of inventory and meeting daily customer orders
- Processes / Data management:

- Assist setting up and managing MRP, info records and BOMs, inventory parameters (min/max etc)
- Define and communicate operating processes across all key departments
- KPIs:

- Prepare and publish activity KPIs
- Other Requirements
- Conduct and attend weekly meetings when required
- Cover other operational roles when required within scope
- Create/update reports when required

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Relevant experience in MRP management
- Expertise in planning, purchasing and procurement for 3rd party and intercompany suppliers
- Knowledge on System such as SAP knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft office Packages such as Excel, Word etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Approachable, enthusiastic, likeable, team player
- Totally motivated and able to work alone when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Continues improvement mindset
- A hands
- on attitude and no problem approach
- Knowledge of Receiving, Invoice and Accounts Payable processes
- Ability to work in a team environment and ability to co-manage special projects

Preferred Qualifications:

- CIPS trained or working towards the qualification
- Purchasing or Supply Chain Degree qualification - Desirable
