Night Care Assistant

We are a care home providing care for up to 38 elderly and vulnerable adults some of whom have dementia. We are looking for an experienced carer who has a professional attitude towards their work to join our night shift team in looking after the physical and mental health of the residents through a person-centred approach.

Tasks include:
Helping residents go to bed

Responding to calls and supporting residents in need of help

Monitoring residents regularly

Providing residents with tea/drinks/snacks if asked

Helping residents get up, washed and dressed in the morning

Some cleaning work

The job involves 3 night shifts per week (36 hours). The hours worked are from 8pm - 8am.

All applicants need a minimum of 2 years experience in care and a QCF level 2 in care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are provided with the necessary PPE to fulfil their job. Staff are tested for Covid-19 three times a week.
