Chudleigh Dental Practice is looking for a part time receptionist, preferably with reception experience, to work four to five mornings per week with our friendly team.

Our receptionists are front-line in dealing with patients and it is essential that our patients are treated in a courteous, professional and efficient manner. Those working on reception need to be confident in dealing with the public both over the phone and in person, must be organised and need to be comfortable using computers.

**General Reception Duties**
- Answer the telephone in the prescribed manner
- Welcome all patients arriving at the practice
- Ensure that the appointment system is used efficiently and accurately
- Collect and record patient payments
- Respect patient confidentiality

**Administration and finance**
- Encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts according to the practice policy
- Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required
- Ensure that patient records are completed correctly before filing and storing them in an efficient, tidy and secure manner
- Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and tidy
- Organise stock supplies and control
- Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice
- Undergo training required to develop your skills and abilities
- Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR
- Cash-up as part of the end of day procedure
- Contribute to practice meetings

**Salary -** depending on experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17 - 21 per week
