We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our Housing team as a Quality Control Inspector.

In this role, you will oversee the quality control and inspection of construction and improvement contracts within our Housing Capital Investment Programme.

You’ll work closely with a team of housing professionals to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- conducting quality inspections for complex construction activities
- enforcing Health and Safety standards across all projects
- providing expert technical advice and support on various construction initiatives
- to liaise between tenants, individuals, services areas and other organisations

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry
- strong knowledge of housing issues, current legislation, and industry best practices
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- electrical skills are highly desirable
- Level 3 construction/trade related qualification or working towards
- an appropriate recognised building trade/professional qualification for example City and Guilds, ONC
