This Personality Disorder Specialist Worker position is an excellent opportunity to work at the leading expert third sector organisation in Oxfordshire for working with people experiencing complex needs. As part of the approach to improving services for people with personality disorders Elmore is providing a number of specialist personality disorder workers to work alongside the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust Complex Needs Service (CNS). The service runs a group therapy programme for those who have a diagnosis of personality disorder, and this is an exciting opportunity to work with the service to reduce the current waiting lists. Workers will be given training in the psychotherapeutic approaches used by the CNS before they are integrated into the delivery teams.

Located at the CNS bases in Oxford and Aylesbury as well as some home working, the post holder will be employed by Elmore while also working alongside a multi-disciplinary team from the Complex Needs Service. Workers will be attached to either the Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire CNSs but will work across both as required.
- New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
- Employees are expected to undertake mandatory and statutory training related to their role.
