An exciting opportunity to join a growing team of greenkeepers at Staining Lodge Golf Course, a family run 18 hole par 72 course set in 160 acres of rural Fylde countryside. Applicants must have previous golf course maintenance experience with a keen eye for detail. Due to our aspiration of constantly striving to maintain the highest possible standards, combined with various project activities, the duties are varied and sometimes labour intensive.

**Job purpose**:
To carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks as directed by the head greenkeeper, in accordance with the Club’s Health and Safety Policy and the Greenkeepers Code of Conduct.

**Applicants will, as a minimum, be expected to demonstrate a proven track record of the following**:

- NVQ Level 2 and ideally working towards level 3 preferred
- 2 years' minimum experience
- Carry out work in accordance to Health and Safety guidelines
- Good knowledge of modern turf machinery
- Team player and self motivated with an excellent work ethic
- PA1, PA2, PA6 Spraying certificates preferred
- Chainsaw license preferred

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough.
- Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating OOB, Drop zones and hazards.
- Switch and brush greens
- Identify and control pests and diseases
- Renovate worn and damaged turf
- Prepare and maintain machinery
