Overview:
**Duties**:

- Plan, organise, and oversee a variety of recreational activities for our residents
- Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of seniors
- Coordinate outings, events, and social gatherings to promote socialisation and community engagement
- Collaborate with staff to integrate activities into the overall care plan for residents
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident preferences
- Ensure activities are inclusive and accessible to all residents, taking into consideration individual needs and abilities

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but we are willing to train
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with seniors, families, and staff
- Understanding of dementia care principles and best practices in senior care
- Creative flair in designing engaging and stimulating activities for older adults
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple activities and schedules effectively
- Passion for providing compassionate care and improving the quality of life for elderly residents

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
