**Play Away City **are looking for a qualified Room Leader to join their team and inspire our children. Our Play Away - City nursery offers purpose-built, spacious building with large feature windows. The beautiful playrooms are flooded with natural light and we have imaginatively designed outdoor spaces which enable all our children to feel inspired as they become adventurous explorers.

For this role we are looking for someone who has great knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, has experience with duties of running the room as a room leader, has a good understanding of safeguarding, giving the children an experience that they will never forget along with there teams as you provide the children with care and fun.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

**Requirements and skills**:

- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (required)
