We provide a range of care and support services for people with a Learning Disability, Autism and complex needs, Acquired Brain Injury, Dementia and neurological conditions. We are seeking to recruit a great new support worker; with the right values and behaviours to work in our short break provision - could this be you?

The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties will include some support with personal care needs, preparing and cooking meals, some general housekeeping as well as help to take part in a wide range of interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, swimming, walking, and presence in the local community like shopping, going to local cafes and restaurants and places of Interests. Our service is open 24/7 and so your shifts will include starting times from 7am or finishing times of 9:30pm there are also some sleep in shifts to which NYC will pay an enhancement, on rare occasions there may be some Waking night shifts required.
