We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to work at our Wolverton site (MK12 5PT).

The role offers a salary of £36,053.05 per annum, with a Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern 0800-1600.

Key tasks
- Responsible for the running of the shift - ensuring staff follow SSoWs and SWIs.
- As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
- Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse, including manually supporting the team with tasks as and when required
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Ensure that all MHE is used in an appropriate manner, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are sufficient numbers of trained employees to meet business demands
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinary

Hearings as necessary
- Review the training and development needs of functional employees to ensure that employees are trained to the required standards
- Looking at continuous improvement with knowledge of Kaizen and/or 5S highly advantageous

Key requirements
- Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-moving operation
- Previous warehouse experience in front line management
- Previous experience of HR processes such as return to work & disciplinary & grievance processes
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is essential
- Able to lift weights of up to 25k
- Previous experience MS Excel & knowledge / operational experience of WMS SCALE
- Experience of using RF scanners
- Counterbalance, Reach or T2 experience/licence is advantageous
- Must be flexible and proactive with the ability to work in a team
- 1st aider & fire marshal trained is desirable
