We are currently seeking an exceptional Digital Media Curator to join our team in London (SE1) and take on a pivotal role in our curation department. We are looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented and adaptable, with a passion for self-development and strong communication skills. You should be proficient in working with video and stills media within the Adobe Suite, and possess a substantial understanding of the moving image asset class, across all video formats. If you are the above and have experience working with 3D asset types in environments such as Blender, Unity, Maya, we would be especially interested in speaking with you. One of the products we offer is augmented reality experiences within our books and iOS app. This role is demanding but highly rewarding for someone who is passionate about digital media curation. Reporting directly to the Head Curator, responsibilities include: - Gathering digital assets (stills and video) from clients using our bespoke archival app. - Gathering digital assets (stills and video) from clients’ own historical personal archives. - Digitising physical assets when required (scanning/photographing). - Curating these assets (stills and video) by editing and adding metadata following ami’s principles within the Adobe environment. - Creating and editing short films and video clips following a client brief. - Colour correcting/grading and retouching assets as required. Knowledge and Experience required. - Highly skilled in Adobe Lightroom, Premier Pro and Photoshop. - Photographic Editing experience. - Knowledge of all common digital media formats. - Media services company experience preferable. - Worked in an SME environment. - Have a working knowledge of and the ability to use Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe work suites. Personal Characteristics desired. - Enjoy working with data and problem solving. - Passion for photography and film is a must. - Ability to have fun and enjoy working under pressure. - Pride yourself on having a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. - Highly organised with ability to continuously prioritise tasks. - Results-driven attitude with rigorous accountability for achieving high levels of individual and company performance. - Systems literate - you will be ready to learn new systems the company is implementing. - Strong communicator. - Hard working, determined and dedicated. - Integrity, able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Salary Full-time £22k - £25k, depending on level of experience. To work from the London SE1 office, after passing probation, hybrid work allowed. ami Creates is an equal opportunity employer.
