Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

As the Transformation Delivery Lead you will be a critical enabler of HSBC’s People Strategy. As a key contributor in the Strategy & Transformation function of Human Resources, the Transformation Delivery Lead will work closely with the Employee Relations CoE Head, their Leadership team, and key stakeholders including the Head of Performance and Reward, and Employee Relations, and the Head of HR Advisory, to scope and drive delivery of strategic change initiatives.
You will be accountable for management of the Employee Relations change portfolio, with the primary focus of the role over 2025 - 2028 being the delivery of People Solutions and Advisory transformation - a global, multi-year initiative to transform HSBC’s approach to employee relations and related HR advisory solutions and services:

- Transforming the operating model and how we organise teams around work across strategy and oversight, the breadth of investigations and consequence management, and support for people managers and colleagues.
- Simplifying employee relations policies and associated processes, creating greater consistency, transparency, and agility.
- Enabling data-led decision making, putting richer data and strategic MI in the hands of our frontline HR and employee relations teams.
- Driving the evolution of skills and capabilities across teams to enable the forward model and ways of working.
- Overseeing and driving measures of success. Ensuring alignment and delivery according to roles and responsibilities, unblocking challenges, escalated issues, and supporting resolution of key dependencies, issues, and open questions.

In this role you will:

- Take strategic ownership, establishing and reviewing strategic priorities and translating them into a roadmap with actionable and measurable plans for implementation.
- Drive Transformation delivery, including scope, size, and execution of change initiatives end-to-end to quality, time, and budget.
- Oversee programme management, ensuring adherence to required change standards, and appropriate rhythm and mechanisms are in place.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including the Group Head of Performance & Reward and Employee Relations, their Leadership Team, HR Chief Operating Officer, Heads of HR, Technology, and wider Transformation and HR teams.
- Lead a team of change resources - promoting values such as inclusion, collaboration, ownership, learning agility, and delivery excellence - fostering positive engagement and ways of working.
- Liaise with group and global teams to ensure deployment plans align, dependencies are understood and managed, and readiness activities are managed well. Represent portfolio / programme aims and objectives, status, and progress at wider governance forums and with senior stakeholders as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Proven experience of leading scaled transformation efforts globally including HR operating model and organisation design and implementation, behavioural and culture change, process, technology is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, exceptional written and verbal presentation skills, with proven experience of facilitating senior conversations at C-Suite level.
- Confident in delivering in a senior programme manager role, including building effective change teams, and delivering across all pillars of change governance (plans, design and architecture, technology and data, risk, financial management, readiness, adoption and embedding) is essential.
- Familiarity with and experience of shaping and delivering change across HR domains including Employee Relations, HR Advisory and HR Service Delivery is preferred. Functional knowledge of wider HR and HR Technologies is also beneficial.
