**Job Role: Property Transfer Customer Support Advisor**

**Location: Paignton, Torbay**

**Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday**

**Main Purpose of Job**

This role is to be the first point of contact for our customers using great communication in a helpful and empathic manner in line with our organisational values and behaviours.

**Position in Organisation**

The role reports direct to a Team Leader & Property Transfer Manager.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Handle inbound customer contact in line with department service targets and taking a first contact resolution approach where necessary.
- To gather all necessary information from the caller to enable identification of the property and the nature of the enquiry.
- To action certain tasks where information is available, and suitable training has been provided.
- To ensure more complex calls are passed to the correct division within the business, triaging by priority where appropriate.
- Complete tasks in order of priority to meet the needs and requirements of our customers.
- Use Microsoft Office proficiently, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel, and use multiple database systems to update records.
- Work effectively as part of a team in person.
- Have a clear understanding of, and work towards achieving the Department’s KPIs.
- With training, learn to assist the department in other aspects of the Property Transfer service.

**Skills and Experience**
- Good organisational skills are essential, with the ability to problem solve.
- Excellent and clear communication skills, incorporating professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude.
- Attention to detail is important, in conjunction with good written communication.
- Be Customer Centric and passionate about being able to effectively support customers with queries and complaints, maintaining an empathetic and friendly attitude.
- Motivated to work to deadlines both individually and as part of the team.
- Be keen to learn new processes and happy to ask for support when needed.
- Multitasking does not phase you and you can adapt your task list each to match the business’ needs.
- Have an enthusiasm for learning the technicalities and details of processes.

**Experience**
- Experience of working in a call centre setting, especially in a legal or property management environment may be considered an advantage, but not by no means essential as full training will be provided.
