My client is currently looking to recruit experienced Moulding Technicians to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow (approx. 15mins from City Centre). The site is commutable from the majority of the central belt incudling Renfrewshire, Ayrshire,Falkirk,Stirling, Livingston and West Lothian.

You will be working with a successful manufacturer that has recently experienced an impressive investment and upturn in sales. The company are well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer. Their culture is results-drivenwith a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

- Implement machine start-ups, achieving targeted cycle times and specified quality as quickly as possible, and following strict first off procedure
- Implement machine shutdown and last-off procedures with maximum efficiency
- Carry out machine set-up, purging and repair / remedial duties
- Maximum efficiency through set-up of ancillary equipment, including conveyors, robots, printing equipment
- Achieve best possible processing performance

To be successful you will need:

- Ideally you will be an experienced injection mould setter with experience in injection moulding
- Experience of any of the following equipment would be advantageous - Engel (Victory & Duo) Demag NC4, ABB six axis robots, Kuka Six axis robot, Wittman robots
- Experience using the following material would also be advantageous - PC, ABS, PC/ABS, PA6, PA6,6 PA12, POM
- PMMA, PP, materials filled with glass fibre, Carbon fibre, Talc and flame retardant grades

This role will work on rotating shift pattern (day / back / night)
