Day Shift and Back Shift on a rotating pattern

**Role Overview**

Due to business growth we are hiring a spray booth operative to join our team of manufacturing personnel at our head office is based in Washington, Tyne & Wear.

The main duties of the role is to spray coffins and caskets in line with customer requests using lacquers, gloss and water based paints. You will be working within custom designed spray booths and will be fully trained on COSHH and mixing systems. Within the spray department you are supported by a team of labourers who will organise and polish your products.

Materials we work with comprise of solid wood, MDF and Chipboard, wicker, bamboo etc.

Previous experience in spray operative role is not essential and full training will be given.
- Desirable to have knowledge and experience with spraying of medium sized manufactured items
- Keen to carry out maintenance and housekeeping duties within their work area
- Good communication and administration skills
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role you will carry out manual handling duties on a daily basis
- A flexible can-do attitude to work.
