**Role Summary**:
The Commercial Assistant is accountable for delivering PRS& Samsung goals, through alignment with the PRS& Samsung brand and ethos, inspiring inspirational customer service, operational compliance and execution while having an unswerving desire to introduce Samsung products that enrich customers connected lives through unrivalled interactions.

The Commercial Assistant manages our promotional funding & tracking, activates & maintains pricing/promotions through our “Promo Engine” on our POS system and works across departments to ensure efficient execution of promotional plans. Building strong relationships across the business and with Samsung to ensure the commercial plans align with PRS & Samsung expectations.

The role would suit an organised, numerate individual looking to start or progress their career in a retail or commercial setting working with a Global brand.

**Core Responsibilities Include**:

- Working closely with the PRS & Samsung commercial & marketing teams on a daily basis to ensure promotional plans are up to date/accurate and funding for those plans is in place before a promotion starts or marketing for the promotion is produced
- Actioning price and promotion changes within our till system (Pronto) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Weekly forecasting of promotional spend to inform any required changes to funding or promotions.
- Managing any funding change requests of promotional deal funding sign-off sheets through to completion.
- Collation of sales data that enables PRS Finance team to successfully claim funding after the promotion has ended.
- Dealing with ad-hoc queries and evidence request from Samsung Finance after PRS Finance have submitted the claims
- Administration of price changes and promotional deals on our point of sale system “Pronto”
- Ad hoc analysis of sales & promotions to inform future planning & maximise sales and review historical trade
- Compile price protection claims
- Summarise end-of-life & high-weeks-stock product support requirements and work with Samsung to produce funding sheets to clear.

**Evidencable Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Communication and influencing skills - both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with dealing with numbers.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient on Microsoft 365, specifically Excel
- The ability to prioritise workloads
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
- Previous experience in a retail, or a commercial/buying team is ideal but not essential
- Constantly challenges own knowledge and drives own learning
