**Buyer - Raw Materials - FTC (6-12 months), Cheshire, £35,000 - £38,000 per Annum + Benefits**

**What's the role?
**To summarise the role in a few sentences
- Working closely with suppliers across UK, EU, Asia and the Middle East. You'll manage a portfolio of raw materials and products for resale.
- Maintaining supplier relationships and performance management
- Reviewing tenders and RFQ's
- Working alongside the sales team managing tenders and business opportunities
- Sourcing of alternative and new raw materials and suppliers

**What do I need?
**Given this role is a FTC, we're really looking for someone who is either immediately available, or can be at short notice. Someone who isn't afraid of a busy workload and working in a fast-paced environment is vital for this role, but a few other elementsthat they are looking for in a new employee are
- A degree or similar level of education / experience in a similar role
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask - time management is key
- High level IT skills, especially Excel
- Ideally have experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
