Senior Lambda Developer

**We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Lambda Developer to join our team and play a major part in growing this niche area.**

You will be responsible for helping to set up the required interfaces, environments, and tooling to allow development to occur with teams from various development and support organisations.
There will also be day to day involvement in the sprint teams of multiple organisations as a system architect from SSCL in the development of contact centre automation solutions. **What you will be doing**:

- **?**Working with enterprise, solution, security and technical architects, product owners, business analysts, BOT conversation specialists, developers, testers, and project managers from various organisations
- Working on maintaining best practice and standards
- Development work within the projects which may sit within your remit
- Overseeing of other developers work, peer reviewing this against aforementioned standards as well as mentoring and coaching
- Producing prototypes, POCs/demos, specifications, and designs
- Input into API requirements from centralised API services

**Areas of development include**:

- Natural Language Processing bots based upon Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Lambda, pinpoint, DynamoDB and other AWS services
- Lambda Integration into the CRM
- Lambda Integration with other centralised APIs
- Lambda Integration to 3rd party services e.g., payment services etc

**What you’ll bring**:

- A Level of design and development experience in AWS lambda, Amazon Lex, Amazon Connect, JavaScript, node.js, API gateway and AWS services in general - Real World Experience
- Relevant experience of integrating with REST APIs
- Experienced working in Agile, Scrum and, DevSecOps methods and tooling
- Secure development experience
- AWS certified developer
- Must be proactive in escalating and impacting issues and have a mindset to look for alternative workarounds to those - Problem solving
