We are looking for a qualified beauty tutor/assessor to join our growing team. A Tutor/assessor is needed to help support learners throughout their qualifications. You will be required to provide tutoring support and complete learner assessments on all units of the Level 3 Diploma in combined beauty therapy skills and Level 3 Diploma in nail technology qualifications. You will be in charge of a group of learners, supporting each individual via theory and practical based teaching.

2 days per week

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Level 2 Beauty therapy
- Level 3 Beauty therapy
- Level 3 Nail Technology

Tutors **must** hold a teaching qualification. The following are acceptable:

- Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (PTTLS)
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF)
- Level 4 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (PTTLS)
- Level 4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (CTTLS)
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training
- Level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (DTTLS)
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
- Certificate in Education

Assessors **must** hold the following:

- Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (QCF)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (QCF)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (QCF)
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF)
- A1 (previously D32, D33)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £110.00-£150.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Beauty: 1 year (preferred)
- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
