Role Overview

The Continuous Improvement Consultant is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the experience within the UK Geography, along with acting upon issues identified through audits, specific to the area of expertise for the role.

What you’ll do:

- To take ownership of assigned change programmes, including progress reporting.
- Responsible for the administration and governance of two instances of ResourceLink
- Finding and delivering opportunities to continuously improve our Payroll systems and processes - through scoping, designing, testing and launching improvements in system, ensuring stakeholders engaged and associated admin maintained throughout.
- Stakeholder partnering - business leads, internal & external e.g. Zellis - partnering to understand current and future state and thereby design initiatives to support achievement of future state
- Collaboration with other teams - Digital People Solutions, Application Support and IS, Pensions, Reward, Finance - upskilling and educating others where gaps in knowledge / experience creates impacts or negative outcomes

What you’ll bring:

- Fair treatment of customers central to all organisational changes, procedural changes and policy decisions that you make, approve or oversee.
- Always seeking to be competent to do your job e.g. by completing all compulsory regulatory training on time to ensure that you have all the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Strong understanding / experience of Payroll functional domain for the specialist area coupled with an understanding of wider organisational issues and challenges
- Self-management, initiative and prioritisation skills
- Problem solving / analytical - diagnose problems, identifying root causes and determine potential resolutions, delivering intuitive solutions for the end user
