What you’ll be doing:

- Designing and developing quality software solutions
- Challenging and improving our processes, tools and approach
- Sharing your expertise
- Supporting our solutions, occasionally out of hours
About You
You'll be able to demonstrate knowledge of and related experience within software development environment.
Have good knowledge and vast experience of relevant software engineering-based development practices, with a clear understanding of and ability to explain complex engineering developments, along with good overall patterns and practices.
You also understand advanced code and version control using GitHub or equivalent, as well as automated testing techniques and testing frameworks.
You’ll have the ability to show your experience and understanding of working in teams, and be familiar with working in Agile environments, preferably SCRUM.
And You Will Have
- Engineering related qualification and/or strong, in-depth software development experience in a commercial environment using the.Net framework (C#).
- Some experience of coaching/mentoring preferred.
Desirable Skills
- Continuous integration/deployment
- Test driven development and/or behaviour driven development
- Database development using Microsoft SQL or Oracle PL/SQL
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies, preferably AWS
- Knowledge of SAFe
- Experience desirable but not essential of JIRA, Confluence and MS Teams
