Cafe Assistant

We are an outdoor adventure centre based at the Eden Project, offering activities such as the longest zipline in England, giant swings, air bag jumping, and aerial platform trekking

We are looking for new members to join our fun and friendly cafe team.

Previous retail / kitchen / cafe services experience is preferred, but a smile and a love of serving customers is the essential. Any hygiene qualifications would be very welcome, but training will also be provided.

Our food and beverage operation is designed to be fast and efficient to be able to deal with high demand. If you thrive in a busy environment this is the role for you. We are looking for someone who can take the initiative and can work well independently as well as part of a team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- You will assist with the operation of our Snack Shack Cafe, involving the preparation and serving of Hot and cold drinks, ice creams and toasting of paninis. Transactions via our tills, daily setup and clean down of kitchen, and ensuring strict hygiene standards are adhered to.
- The role is seasonal, meaning that we will require your full availability across the Summer season and October holidays, with availability to work both weekdays and weekends.
- Full training will be given on commencement of your role. If you do not already possess one, you will be required to complete a level 2 food hygiene course which will be organised by ourselves.
- The role is based upon a zero
- hour contract.

These roles are based upon a zero hours contracts. Due to the 7 days week nature of our business, you will need to be available on weekdays/weekends/holidays during the summer season.
