We’re looking for a **Repairs & Empty Homes Team Leader in Boston**to take charge, drive efficiency, and ensure every home is safe, functional, and ready for its next chapter.
This role is more than just repairs, it’s about real customer influence, making sure every resident gets the service they deserve. You’ll harness cracking data to optimise performance, ensuring every decision is backed by insight. We are offering an excellent salary of **£42,523.92 plus some great benefits.**
As Team Leader, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring our Empty Homes are repaired quickly in accordance with our Lettings Standard, but you will also support the In-House Repairs service in completing repairs to customer’s homes, in line with our vision and values.
You will ensure all repairs (whether in customers’ homes, void properties, or on our estates or schemes) are delivered right, first time, safely and efficiency in line with our repairs policy, budget parameters and our repairs vision.
You will lead a team of operatives ensuring that operation and commercial targets are met and that your team are led effectively and deliver an efficient service.

**What could a typical week look like as a Repairs & Empty Homes Team Leader?**
Working at LHP offers variety, challenge and the chance to make a real difference - but it’s not always easy, you’ll have a fantastic team around you as support and to celebrate your team success.
**A typical week could look like**:
- Leading a team of engineers to provide repairs to our customers’ homes as part of the In-House Repairs Service. You will proactively manage your team using all management information available now or in the future ensuring that you and your team work safely to the policies and procedures of LHP and that operational efficiency targets are met whilst putting the customer first.
- You will provide technical advice to your team of engineers where appropriate and source advice that you are unable to provide.
- Ensuring that our customers, the public, and your team of engineers are safe and that the work they undertake is safe by ensuring they are suitable trained and that they are always compliant with all mandatory training, that they comply with all of LHP’s safe systems of work and risk assessments, and carrying out dynamic risk assessments as the situation requires. Ensure colleagues training is up to date and planned accordingly.
- Arrange and leading toolbox talk meetings and other team meetings with your team at least monthly or more often, as required, to ensure all team members are informed of ongoing changes in policy, procedure, legislation, guidance or other requirements and ensure that all team members attend these meetings, and that attendance and comments are recorded.
- Ensuring that your team of engineers are efficient and comply with the repairs appointments that have been made for them, that they minimise any follow-on works by completing the whole repair right, first time, at the first appointment as well as any other repair they have the skills, time, and materials to complete.
