Trainee Bid Writer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Bid Writer to join our Client, a Facilities Management SME operating predominantly in the Social Housing Sector.

You will work with the Bid Writer/Manager in the production of responses to Invitations to Tender. To start with, you will be responsible for producing drafts of elements of a response for the Bid Writer/Manager to review. As you become more experienced, you will be expected to be able to write a bid using information from a variety of sources, including the Bid Library.

This role will suit someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is not afraid of hard work or deadlines.

You must be bright, willing to learn and not be afraid to take notes so managers do not need to repeat requests.

You must have first class English writing skills, including a wide vocabulary and a good grasp of grammar.

The role will also involve working on other projects such as submissions to various qualification and accreditation bodies and undertaking a variety of research projects for Directors

- Highly motivated with a flexible approach

Bid writing experience is NOT desirable but not essential.
