**Sales Support Assistant**

**Location**: Basingstoke RG22 4AU
**Salary**: £10.00 to £12.00 per hour DOE
**Contract**: Full or Part-Time
**Hours**: There is scope for hours to be adjusted to help meet other factors such as school times

We are Fireplaces Direct and we are recruiting

We are looking to add a Sales Support Assistant to our long established, busy Showroom team based in Basingstoke where Team Spirit is key.

As our Sales Support Assistant you will provide key areas of assistance to the Sales Team to ensure smooth business processes and customer satisfaction.

**Sales Support Assistant - The role**:

- Responding to customer enquiries (web based and telephone) in a timely manner;
- Creation and production of sales orders;
- Supplier management;
- Creation, follow-up and co-ordination of purchase orders/delivery dates and payment of invoices;
- Ensuring Sales aides such as brochures, price lists and display materials are available and kept up to date;
- Ensuring the Showroom is kept tidy and presentable; Website and social media activity co-ordination;
- Use of Xero accounting software.
- Supporting the Office Manager to complete various weekly and monthly reconciliations and office administration activities.

**Sales Support Assistant - What we need from you**:
We are looking for a pro-active, focussed individual who can take responsibility within a fast-paced environment.

In addition to this we need you to:

- Be PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be reliable
- Be able to take responsibility to get things done to a high standard of detail and accuracy in a timely manner
- Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

We would love it if you had knowledge of Xero Accounting Software however full training will be given.

**It would be great if you had experience in any of the following areas**: Accounting, Bookkeeping, Administration, Administrator, Admin, Customer Service, Office Work, Sales, Telesales, Business Development, Retail, Retail Assistant
