**Up to £13 per hour**

**Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexitime**

Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and previous references must be provided.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- To provide and maintain a high quality service to children working as part of a staff team to meet children’s individual needs.
- To lead a team in your assigned room.
- To develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
- To lead staff in the room by showing a good role model.
- To assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children’s needs.
- To work within the EYFS and promote high standards of care for the children.
- To assume responsibility for key children and ensure their developmental needs are met.
- To maintain a welcoming environment by reviewing displays and resources on regular basis.
- To use observation and reflective practice to contribute to planning and evaluation in the setting.
- To take any action required to ensure the safety and welfare of children and to report any concern immediately to the Nursery Manager or DSL.
- To ensure good communication with staff and parent’s / carers.
- **Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare.**:

- Experience in a leadership or management role is preferable.
- Should have a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
- Good timekeeping, organisation and reliability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
