Sunspeed specialises in delivering physical IT solutions. We organise and manage UK and international IT Relocation, Asset Disposal, Technical Logistics and IT Engineering projects for many of the world’s leading technology organisations.
We are currently seeking a Relocation Planner to join our growing team.
**About the role**:
You will:
- Coordinate and plan collection / deliveries to ensure effective use of Sunspeed resources while meeting our SLA with clients.
- Ensure compliance with EU working time directive and relevant road safety regulations
- Ensure active monitoring of all shipments in-transit, providing updates to colleagues and customers.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and staff to ensure schedules and SLAs are met.
- Liaise with clients and field teams to ensure service levels are maintained.
- Work closely with clients’ supply chain functions to ensure schedules are met and accurately reported.
- Respond to changing customer demands seamlessly.
- Be responsible for communicating with customers and understanding customer requirements.
- Ensure proofs of delivery / activity are actively managed.
- Planning work-loads & reloading for drivers and vehicles ensuring mínimal empty running of vehicles.
- Working as part of a planning team with cross-training for colleagues.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time in line with your skills and competencies.
- Schedule site surveys and create RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) as required.
- Provide operational support to sales team when scoping / quoting projects - for example providing information on appropriate approach / vehicle / no. of engineers needed.
- Resource scheduling and engineer work-order creation and management.
- Have active communication and engagement with other departments and suppliers.
- Assist and support account managers with solving customer challenges.
- Document your activity and maintain client information in Sunspeed’s customer relationship management system (CRM).
**QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure and to strict deadlines. Proven ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities.
- Substantial experience transport planning for 3+ years.
- Experience in the logistics industry, including white glove services.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including Office 365 and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent multitasking and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to act effectively under pressure and with tight time constraints.
- Has an ability to learn quickly and think on their feet.
- Is prepared to question ‘the way it’s always been done’ to ensure processes are refined and improved over time so we continue to develop.
- Has a dynamic approach to work as the business is growing rapidly and has to evolve with its clients.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
- Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
- Full training, including additional courses, will be provided.
- 25 holiday days + 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days (+ bank holidays).

**Job Type**:Full-time.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
