Rotational Dietitian

Are you due to graduate and wanting to secure a post in a large department? We are looking for Band 5 dietitians to join our Band 5 rotation programme which covers both the acute hospital setting and provides community experience. If you wish to work in a department where there is a great band 5 education programme and varied opportunities for development and progression then this is the job for you
UHS is a leading teaching hospital and the department of dietetics and speech and language therapy employs approximately 130 staff, with clinical experts working across the range of specialties.
You will be working in the acute adult dietetic team at Southampton General Hospital and the community dietetic team based at The Royal South Hants hospital. You will work closely with senior colleagues supporting specialist services, staff training and resource development. Through completion of our band 5 development programme you will have an opportunity to work alongside many specialists and gain knowledge in a variety of acute and community areas. All band 5's have regular supervision with senior colleagues and join our preceptorship programme. These teams are busy and hardworking and known for their friendliness, support and development opportunities.
Our service operates during core hours, Monday to Friday. Occasional work outside of core hours is required with prior notice.
