Your role will be to develop, manage and maintain strong and effective relationships with statutory, private and third sector organisations, employers, education and training providers to enable the Employment, Training and Education (ETE) London team tosupport ex-offenders into employment, training or education. You will generate sufficient quality jobs and training opportunities to meet the needs/interests of ex-offenders whilst aligning with future employment trends in London. **Key Responsibilities**: - To promote Dynamic Framework ETE opportunities to stakeholders - To work within an agreed geographical area to understand the local labour market to make informed decisions around developing new business within priority sectors with key employers - To broker work placements, jobs, training opportunities with a wide range of employers and training providers, in line with growth industries in London - To identify, build and maintain relationships with statutory and community resources (e.g. local colleges/training providers, services; ETE ecosystem - To agree Service Level Agreements to facilitate referral pathways e.g. Community Partnership Network (CPN) - To create and maintain local online menu of CPN services and discretionary funding - To promote continuity with resettlement prison work and education offers - To build relationships with NPS stakeholders - To use sector routeway opportunities to enable service users to train/prepare for work in their local area - To be the single point of contact for all relevant employer enquiries / requests for advice and guidance on employing people on probation **What we're looking for**: - Strong track record of developing strategic relationships in ETE/ related field - Employer engagement experience - Knowledge of local job market/vacancies and service provision - Knowledge of future trends to inform training needs (Sector Skills Academies) - Networker, able to identify new ETE opportunities via multiple forums - Able to analyse labour market data to identify opportunities for service users, matching supply and demand - Ability to gain and maintain up to date knowledge of local job market/vacancies and service provision - Able to build strong relationships with employers, statutory, voluntary and partner services - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver information in a prompt, organised and accessible manner - Comfortable spending time out and about in London, seeking out new opportunities and "cold calling" on employers - Able to educate employers on the benefits of taking people on probation into their workforce - Attend NPS briefings to inform practitioners of the opportunities in their area to encourage appropriate referrals both in terms of expectations and job readiness - Resilience and solution focused - Strong team player with a positive and flexible approach to both work and colleagues - Creative problem solving skills and a positive approach to challenging and overcoming - Highly motivated self-starter - Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships - Strong written and verbal communication - ICT proficient - able to set up databases to share with the team **EEO Statement** Where reasonable, MAXIMUS will review and consider adjustments for those applicants who express a requirement for them during the recruitment process.
