Working in the Sales team, headed up by Amy Gibbs, you will have the opportunity to become an adventure sales specialist, creating amazing “Macs Moments” for our customers every day, and experience first-hand the difference that active travel makes to people’s lives and the planet.
This role is based in our Glasgow City Centre office on a office/hybrid basis.

Welcoming over 30,000 customers on over 600 walking and cycling trips to destinations around the world, we employ over 100 people across the UK, US and Germany who share our purpose to **lead, advocate & enable self-guided, active travel as a positive force for people and planet.**

**What you’ll do**
Working alongside the other talented members of the Macs Sales team the Adventure Sales Specialist role is to ensure that the customer has an unforgettable experience throughout their journey with Macs Adventure from initial enquiry to post trip feedback:
- After completion of an 8-week training programme you will respond to different types of customer enquiries and covert these into confirmed bookings.
- Deliver a high level of customer experience as you will be the first contact a customer has with Macs.
- Achieve and exceed personal and team targets without compromising the customer journey.
- Be able to prioritise new enquiries and customers questions which can increase during our season.
- After 12 months be fully competent in the Sales Process, be able to adapt to the different priorities the departure season brings.

- A keen interest in travel and passion for learning about new destinations.
- Able to work under pressure, motivated to achieve targets and demonstrate a positive attitude.

- Able to multitask, prioritise and establish deadlines to ensure competing objectives are met.
