**The Role**

I am looking for someone who has the skills and experience to mount tanker barrels to new truck / trailer chassis. This would include lifting the barrel onto the chassis, fabricating bracketry & chassis’, fitting axles, installing braking & lighting systems,and working bespoke pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

You would need to be highly competent in MIG welding and ideally have experience/competence TIG welding. You will be confident in working with HGV pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics. A good understanding of HGV vehicle building legislation is also required.

Alternatively, you may have the skills and experience to become a key part of our tanker repair workshop team? This would include fitting pumps & meters, repairing barrels, accident damage repairs to tanker bodywork, fabricate components, perform tank pressuretest inspections. You would also regularly work with hydraulics and pneumatics.

You would need to have good fabrication experience and be able to competently MIG weld and TIG weld, to coded welding standards. You would have experience installing, repairing and modifying tanker components such as pumps, meters and compressors, plus workingon the pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical controls that operate these parts.
