**Grade TR01: £31,120.00 per annum basic salary plus £9,113.71 per annum compulsory 7.5 hours per week contractual overtime (£40,233.71 per annum)**

**An additional allowance of £1,867.20 per annum will be applied upon joining the Call Out Rota at 6 months' service**

**Full-time: 35 hours per week plus 7.5 hours compulsory contractual overtime (42.5 hours per week)**

**The Opportunity**:
Maintenance Services currently employ a mix of 85+ trades, semi-skilled and trade apprentice staff within its department who are responsible for the service and repair of over 500 buildings within the University of Edinburgh estate.

We now require two Advanced Plumbers to join one of our multi-disciplined trade’s teams. You will be joining a team that provides exceptional customer services to an expanding world class estate.

You will have completed an appropriate Recognised SNIPEFF Craft Apprenticeship as a Plumber (Minimum 4 years) with either City and Guilds Certificate or an Advanced Craft SVQ Level 3 Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent. It is essential that you meet the criteria within the job description.

A driving licence is essential as there will be a requirement to drive University vehicles.

The Maintenance Services Team also operates an emergency call out rota which you will join on reaching 6 months service. You be expected to take part in 6 weeks out of the year.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Relevant experience working within complex building services and estates including minor works, alterations, refurbishments and new installations.
- Recognised Craft Apprenticeship in either City and Guilds Certificate or an Advanced Craft SVQ Level 3 Certificate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
- Experience of using smart phone technology.Clean UK driver’s licence.
