We’re looking for a Team Administrator to join our Building Safety team. Our team of Buildings and Fire safety experts carry out inspections on Home Group’s properties and buildings. We scope out the programmes of work that our contractor partners have to carryout. Our work is a critical part of making sure that we delivery on our Safe Home promise.
As our team administrator you’ll help us with all of our varied administration tasks which are critical in making sure we get the job done. You’ll have 2 main areas to focus on. Firstly you’ll look after the administration and updating of our records and systemsafter the teams inspections. You’ll help us make sure that we deliver consistent fire and compliance activities
Secondly you’ll make sure that the important meetings we regularly hold with key partners and suppliers, are accurately minuted and recorded.
**When and where you’ll do this job**
In this full time Monday to Friday job, we can be flexible in agreeing a working pattern that suits you and the wider team. It’s the team’s unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your child’s school play, your partner’s graduation,or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours
Your official base will likely be from our Farringdon offices in central London or from our small local office in Chelmsford. We do a hybrid working pattern, so you’ll also have the option of working from home a few days a week.
**Your Team**
You’ll join David’s team of surveyors and there will be 6 of us all together. David has worked for Home Group 6 years now, and really knows the business very well. Outside of work David is a huge astronomy buff and knows just where the dark sky zones are inthe region to take full advantage of his telescope As a team we try to get together once a month but support each other, even if we’re not in the same room.

You have strong administration skills and a keen eye for detail. You’re organised, able to prioritise work to meet deadlines and handle several tasks simultaneously. You’ll get where our customers are in their lives and understand how your role makes a differenceto our customers.
