We are looking for an experienced **Junior Tech Author** to join our team. This role is remote/hybrid working - you can work anywhere in the UK. You will join us on a **full time, permanent basis** and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.

**What you'll be doing as our Junior Tech Author**:
We are looking for a **Junior Tech Author** who is interested in working within a software delivery function, who can contribute to the delivery of high-quality product documentation to our customers.

Your role will have a strong focus towards the continuous delivery, driving improvements you will ensure deadlines are met.

**What we’re looking for in our Junior Tech Author**:

- Experience of creating and reviewing documentation or user-focused information
- Awareness of software development and delivery
- The ability to take on board constructive feedback and use it to improve content
- Working knowledge or awareness of agile approaches to software development, ideally with Scrum and Kanban
- Experience of Microsoft Office
- The ability to collaborate with customers, development teams and product owners
- Quality-oriented with experience producing high-quality user documentation, ensuring appropriate use of language and graphics
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

**Beneficial or areas for learning**:

- Knowledge of Technical Authoring tools, such as MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp.
- Knowledge of versioning software, such as Git.
- An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience of working in software development.
