Care is Central’s flagship care home, Marigold House (Leighton Buzzard) has an exciting opportunity to join our front desk reception team for one and a half days per week.

The role will include working independently for one day per week (8 hours) alternating Mondays and Fridays, and a flexible shorter day of 4 hours working alongside a colleague.

**Summary of Duties**:
As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the care home ensuring everyone is greeted with a warm welcome.
- Ensure the visitors book is completed properly and visitors are supported and directed to their destination promptly.
- Answer all telephone calls and ensure that messages are delivered in a timely manner or calls are transferred to the relevant person.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
- Ensure the reception area is always kept neat and tidy.
- Work closely with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure the home is stocked with stationery as required.
- Support with administration tasks within the care home.

**Requirements**:

- No previous experience is required; we will provide you with the necessary training. We just need you to have an outgoing, friendly and warm demeanour
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Good timekeeping
- Be eligible to work in the UK
