**About the school**

The school is an outstanding SEN school with high expectations of both its staff and pupils.

**The role**

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support ASD (Autistic) pupils in the structured learning department of school.
The department has small class sizes, between 4-6 pupils, and follows an adapted curriculum to ensure a calm, routine driven learning space for the pupils.

We are seeking a passionate individual who wants the opportunity to work in an establish team and is dedicated to committing on a long-term basis.
Hours: Monday-Friday. 8.30am-4.00pm

**To be considered for the position you must have;**

Experience supporting young people with SEND
Experience working with young people with Autism
Be comfortable working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, providing motivation and support to engage with lessons/workshops/activities
Have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
Be willing to undertake Team Teach Training and other training as necessary for the role.

The school are seeking to make a permanent appointment following a 12 week probationary period.

**Salary**: £80.00-£85.00 per day
