Groundskeeper

We are recruiting a groundkeeper to look after a fantastic group of businesses situated in the Alfreton area including pubs, wedding venues and other office locations.

We have multiple fields & grounds situated within the group of businesses. It will be your responsibility to work individually to clean, tidy and maintain the grounds to the highest possible standard.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Annual salary of between £28,000 - £32,000 including holiday pay and expenses.
- Pay is based on an average of 40 hours per week (hours may vary depending on the seasons and weekend hours will be required)
- Paid monthly

**Duties will include**; but are not restricted to;
- Pond care
- Maintenance of plants
- Lawn Cutting
- Hedge Pruning
- Weed Control
- Shrub Maintenance
- Litter Picking
- Sweeping
- Leaf Blowing
- Driving to/from and on sites
- Operation of hand tools
- Painting and maintaining boundary fences and hedges
- Jet washing patios and paved areas

**Requirements**:

- Attitude is key - the individual will be highly organised, have a positive, can-do attitude and will always be willing to go the extra mile to maintain a high standard at all times
- Passion for the maintaining grounds and shrubs
- Must be willing to work outside in all weathers
- Full Clean UK Driving License (Must Drive)
- 1 Years’ professional grounds maintenance / gardening experience
- Be fully authorised to work in the UK
- Knowledge of English language essential as interviews will be held in English
- Must reside within 30 minutes commute of the work location
- Must have experience of driving with a trailer
- Must have experience of driving a ride on mower

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
